Directions: Read each group of sentences. In each group, there are words that follow the double vowel rule. Click on a word if you think it follows the double vowel rule. If you forget what the rule is, click on the Double Vowel Rule button on the right. Be careful! There are plenty of double vowel words that don't follow this rule. Be sure to say the word out loud first and listen for the long vowel sound.
